WE DESIGNED UNIVERSAL STUDIOS SINGAPORE
KB Creative Advisors (KBCA) is the Executive Design Firm in charge of the creative design of Universal Studios Singapore. Representing Genting's Resorts World at Sentosa, KBCA is providing master plan refinement, facility planning and design, facade, area development, environmental graphics, show, and interior design, and on-site art direction for the project, consisting of 24 shows, rides and attractions, 25 stores and restaurants. Scheduled for completion in early 2010, Universal Studios Singapore is a US $1.4bn part of Genting's US $6.2bn resort addition to Singapore's Sentosa Island.

SOCIOLOGIST TOMOAKI HATA PUBLISHES "THE NIGHT IS STILL YOUNG"
KBCA's in-house Sociologist and researcher, Tomoaki Hata, has published a book of his photographs taken in Japan. The Night Is Still Young is a behind the scenes tour of Japan's underground drag scene in the late 1990's. Published simultaneously in Japan and the US, we're proud of Tomoaki's accomplishments!

KBCA's talented theme park art director, Christopher Merritt published Knott's Preserved, a decade long work of passion, celebrating the art and artists who brought Knott's Berry Farm to life. Featuring never before seen original art, Chris and his writing partner, J. Eric Lynxwiler, weave interviews with the designers and surviving Knott family members into a comprehensive tale of arguably America's first theme park pioneer, Walter Knott, who turned a depression-era roadside berry stand into an international entertainment destination, not to mention a brand of jams known worldwide. We salute Chris' dedication and accomplishments!
