Catherynne Jean is an innovative art director, designer, illustrator and sculptor with over 22 years of experience in theme park, show, ride and attraction design. A specialist in the design of children's attractions, Catherynne is known for creating the newest experiences in themed entertainment, combining her international experience with ingenuity, pursuing quality from the initial sketches through fabrication and installation.

As key creative leader on many overseas projects, Catherynne is experienced leading design and fabrication teams to ensure the vision for each uniquely designed show is achieved. Her track record includes design and sculpting of animated characters, creation of painted murals, complicated set and rockwork design, costume and prop design. She even holds a patent for the creation of innovative special effects equipment.

As a leading concept manager for Universal Creative international teams, she helped launch The E.T. Adventure, Islands of Adventure's Dueling Dragons, and Terminator 2:3D, which received the 1996 Themed Entertainment Association's Attraction of the Year Award.
