Kevin has over 23 years of experience in retail and entertainment design firms. Experienced in leading teams of professionals from diverse backgrounds to achieve innovative results, Kevin has been responsible for the creative aspects of projects up to $1.7 billion in magnitude.
Providing creative leadership in master planning, architecture, interiors, landscape design and environmental graphics, Kevin has served clients such as Korea's Samsung, Paramount Studios, Duty Free Stores, HMSHost, Universal Studios Japan and Singapore.
As Executive Art Director, Kevin was the creative leader in charge of the design of both Universal Studios Japan and Singapore. In Japan, he created Universal's first quality/brand management program and established the on-site design team to support ongoing operations in Osaka, Japan.
During his tenure with RTKL, Kevin master planned and designed large-scale mixed-use retail venues, developed storefront criteria, interior design criteria, and managed design teams.
While with the Warner Brothers owned Six Flags Theme Parks, Kevin was in charge of planning, design and implementation of ride, attraction, restuarant, game, water park design, corporate sponsor design/implementation and retail projects for Six Flags Magic Mountain, Valencia, California.
In addition to completing Universal Studios Singapore, Kevin recently developed the themed retail environments for The Venetian Macau in cooperation with RTKL, conceptualized entertainment concepts for "tweens" in Dubai, retail concepts for high-profile projects in New York, is developing designs for a Entertainment Retail Complex in Korea, and continues research and development of theoretical approaches to Empotional Master Planning™.
A licensed architect, Kevin holds a Master of Architecture in Urban Design, has studied at the Architectural Association in London (in conjunction with Arizona State), traveled extensively through Europe, Japan, and South East Asia, and consults on creativity and brainstorming techniques.
