Greg is a remarkably talented and accomplished director and concept designer. He has worked successfully designing and directing shows all over the world for more than 20 years. His productions have spanned a variety of venues, and have been developed and staged on behalf of many different organizations including more than 50 productions for leading US corporations, theatrical shows, and world-class entertainment parks.
He created the multi-million dollar nighttime spectacular for Universal Studios Japan, Hollywood Magic, and the highly successful 2002 holiday show, Christmastime Magic. Both productions are now in open-ended runs at the Osaka, Japan theme park.
Greg's international experience led to the success of his production of Fantasea of a Kingdom, a cultural extravaganza, which played twice daily in a 3000-seat theatre built for the show in Phuket, Thailand. This show won the award for "Best Tourist Attraction in Thailand" each year from 1999 through 2003 and is now in an open-ended run.
Mr. Holford's productions for Universal Studios Hollywood have included the Nickelodeon production of Totally Nickelodeon , followed by Rugrats' Magical Adventure. Other theatrical productions by Mr. Holford have included the British premieres of Runaways and Working, and the Concert Tour of Fame .
Mr. Holford is the founder/director of Rock Theatre, a performing group that is currently celebrating its 25 th Anniversary and has performed at the 2000 Olympics, 1992 World Expo, as well as numerous film, television, and corporate events.
Mr. Holford holds a Master of Fine Arts in directing from the University of Southern California, where he studied under the famed, Academy Award winning actor/director/producer John Houseman.
